Cookie policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
Short version: we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookie-free. That is why you have not seen a cookie banner.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can be used to make a site work, to remember your preferences or to track you across the web. We only use the first kind, and only where strictly necessary.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit our site and which pages are useful. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not use local storage, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising platforms.
Strictly necessary cookies
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may set security cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from real people. These are essential to keeping the site and your enquiries secure, so they do not require consent under UK law.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes people from bots to protect the website. | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers that you have passed a security check. | Up to 1 year |
| Turnstile challenge data | Cloudflare | Spam protection on our quote and callback forms (runs in a Cloudflare frame, not used for tracking). | Session |
Not every visitor will receive these cookies – Cloudflare only sets them when needed.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site, such as our forms, may not work.
